Description

This specimen features extraordinarily intense deep purple (almost black) Amethyst crystals in hedgehog formation. The excellent luster and great intensity exhibit the characteristic of Uruguay. It is a complete mound of sharp crystals wrapped around a central chunk of skinny host rock as the matrix with a blue agate —a very striking amethyst specimen among the Amethyst World of its top color from this famous locale.
