Description

This specimen features a perfectly rounded knob in extraordinarily intense deep purple (almost black) Amethyst crystals in hedgehog formation. The excellent luster and great intensity exhibit the characteristic of Uruguay. It is a complete mound of sharp crystals wrapped around a stalactic form with gorgeous agate banding eye at the center of the base as the matrix —a very striking amethyst specimen among the Amethyst World of its top color from this famous locale.
