Description

This specimen features a saturated purple amethyst cast after the calcite. Initially, a hexagonal-rhombohedral calcite prism with a rhombohedral termination formed and was subsequently covered by a plethora of amethyst. Then, fluids came through the cavity and dissolved the entire calcite crystal leaving this marvelous cast. These amethyst crystals are translucent and high reflective with a 360-degree viewing angle shimmering with any amount of lighting. A perfect gallery collection for conversational.
